Our story

Founded on a simple belief: patients deserve
a doctor's full attention.

Dr. Deborah Harding, founder of Harding Medical Institute
Dr. Deborah Harding · Founder

Harding Medical Institute was founded in Orlando by Dr. Deborah Harding and Dr. Victor Harding with a conviction that ran against the grain of modern medicine: that healthcare works best when a clinician truly knows the patient in front of them.

Dr. Deborah Harding built HMI into one of Central Florida's most trusted destinations for hormone optimization and preventive wellness — a practice where visits were unhurried, labs were read line by line, and patients were treated like family, because many of them became exactly that.

Today, HMI remains family-owned and carries that legacy forward. The medicine has advanced — comprehensive panels calibrated to the HMI Standard, precision supplementation, modern hormone therapies — but the philosophy hasn't moved an inch. Every member of our team is here because they believe what Dr. Deborah Harding believed:

“Attention is the most powerful instrument in medicine.”

Two providers. One promise.

Rowena Montojo-Weiss and Natalie Leonard are the providers who read your labs, return your calls, and know your story — not a rotating roster. A deliberately small team caring for a deliberately small panel, so every visit is unhurried.

Relationship-first

Small patient panel. Long visits. Providers who remember your last conversation — because they were in it.
