Dr. Deborah Harding
Dr. Deborah F. Harding founded Harding Medical Institute on a conviction that ran against the grain of modern medicine: that healthcare works best when a physician truly knows the patient in front of them.
A graduate of the University of Virginia and the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, she practiced for more than thirty years — integrating preventive science with a rare, personal devotion to her patients. She built HMI into one of Central Florida's most trusted destinations for hormone optimization and preventive wellness: a practice where visits were unhurried, labs were read line by line, and patients were treated like family, because many of them became exactly that.
Her research spanned sleep medicine, hormonal and nutritional health, and their connections to disease — work that still shapes how we read labs and build plans today. Married to Dr. Victor Harding for over forty years, she raised six children, skied, golfed, rowed, and cared for patients from all over the world.
Dr. Harding is deeply missed. Her legacy is present in every unhurried visit, every lab read line by line, and every patient we greet by name.
“Attention is the most powerful instrument in medicine.”
